This was our small setup back when we used to work from home, before opening our shop, Pink Alterations. It was a simple space, but it’s where we first brought our passion for sewing and tailoring to life. Every stitch, every project, and every satisfied customer helped lay the foundation for the business we’ve proudly grown today.

Opening our shop in June 2024 was more than just starting a business, it was the realization of a dream that’s been in our hearts for generations. We’re a family owned, female owned alteration shop in the heart of Austin, TX, and we pour our soul into every piece that comes through our doors.
At the heart of Pink Alterations is our incredibly talented seamstress with over 30 years of experience. She’s been sewing since she was a little girl, learning the craft in her parents’ alteration shop alongside her siblings. Her love for sewing has only grown since then, and today she’s able to work magic on just about anything from wedding gowns, tuxedos, leather, fur, curtains, pillows, custom bags, you name it, she can do it. There hasn’t been a challenge she couldn’t take on.
What truly sets us apart is her gift, her hands bring clothing back to life and our commitment to treating every customer like family. We believe everyone deserves to feel great in what they wear, and we’re here to help make that happen, one stitch at a time.
